This is a picture of the fabric postcard I made for an auction that takes place this summer at “A Quilters Affair” in Sisters in July. The money goes to a camp for kids whose parents have cancer. So I started thinking about my bout with cancer and how I got through it. And I remembered biking to the hospital for my radiation treatments. All the techs thought I was nuts but it helped me feel healthy and alive even though I had this terrible sickness. So this is the postcard I made. It’s painted with fused fabric and lots of stitching.
