Back from the Trail

On Sunday I went on a bus trip to the Tacoma Art Museum to see the Gee's Bend Quilts. This exhibit is called Architecture of the Quilt and is the second big museum exhibit of Gee's Bend quilts. The Tacoma Art Museum did a nice job with the quilts; we just weren't allowed to take any photographs. The exhibit is there through December 9th and I would highly recomment making the trip up to see it.
The weather turned out to be decent so I took a walk to see the Glass Bridge. Every time I see it, I am still awed. Amazing, beautiful, magnifique!
The bus trip was arranged by LuAnn at Fibers In Motion and she did a great job. Wonderful lunches and snacks and wine on the way home. Can't beat it.

These are from the Dancing Pinwheels class.
These are from Encapsulated
And just one from the Dancing Pinwheels class. Don't know why I didn't get more because it was a fabulous class. Lots of great color combinations.
