Rick’s Art Yard

We stopped to see this wonderful art environment in Centralia, WA. Rick and I were on our way up to Lynden and I had read about this place while I was at the Beer Can House in Houston. It’s called Rick’s Art Yard and it’s just a half mile off I-5. You can read about the maker on Roadside America. The owner was not around the day we were there so we could only walk around the outside. Very inventive with his materials and wonderful little vignettes. There was lots of styrafoam and rebar, chains and those pool tubes cut into slices. I loved it.

Lee, you are just cracking me up. I can’t wait to see what you’ve sneaked into your backyard next year….right under Rick’s nose. :-)
