I hope you all noticed that I’ve been away from the blog for almost a week. Last Saturday I taught the Round Division class in Longview, WA, had Sunday off and on Monday headed up to Lynden, WA. Both engagements went great and I thought you might enjoy some pictures.
Here are some of the great color combinations that students came up with for the Round Division class. In some of the pictures you can see what we were auditioning for the sashing. These are Australian fabrics paired with earth tones.
These are prints from the Laurel Burch collection paired with brights.
These are Asian prints paired with off-whites.
And these are all batiks distinguished by value.
Rolling Star was the class in Lynden and I forgot to take pictures until several people had left. Here are a few of the great color combinations.
