When we moved to Portland almost ten years ago, we were fortunate to move in across the street from Tim and Jewel. They are some of the most wonderful people I know and have done so much for us since we’ve lived here. They have become part of our extended family.
This year I finally got around to making them a quilt. I wanted it to be one of my patterns and I wanted it in blues. I decided to go with Round Division since it’s a wonderful pattern to play around with fabrics. And I had a great time collecting the blue prints that are in here. I also decided to go with solids to compliment the prints just because it makes more of a statement. A little dash of gold for an accent and voila.
I’m very happy with how it turned out and it looks beautiful in their home.

I love the colors and I always love this quilt every time I see it made up. It always looks so wonderful and different depending on the fabrics! The Gold color, is a nice pop… The quilting is great!! Lucky neighbors… Beautiful…..
