My friend Anne decided to count up all her unfinished projects and start finishing them. She had 13 projects in various stages. I thought that was excessive so I decided to count up my own. What a mistake! I have no room to talk that’s for sure. I had 14 unfinished projects as well as 7 tops that just need to be quilted. Boy did I feel like a heel for giving her grief.
I’ve decided to finish them one by one. Some of these “projects” are really just demo blocks from classes I teach. In two cases I just finished the blocks that were started and put them in the “parts department” where they might fit into a later project. This little quilt only needed it’s border sewn on so I finished that up this weekend. I started it so I could see how the border would work out. Don’t love the quilt, but the border is fun. I have no idea what I’ll do with it but now it can move over to the just needs to be quilted list. Yeah. I’m down to 11 UFO’s.
I’ve got another top that just needs it’s borders and I hope to get that one done this week. Maybe I’ll finish piecing two and then quilt one. We shall see how long I can persevere without starting something new. I do need to start at least one new quilt for a show I’m supposed to be a part of that is in April.

Cool border! I recognize the lower left hand block. How clever of you to find a use for it.
I am afraid to count up mine. Did Annie tell you she added to her UFO’s?
